Why is selling a car on eBay getting harder to get good money?
Q. I have sold over 400 cars on eBay. It just doesn't seem to be like it used to be. Cars aren't selling for as much money. People used to fly in and buy cars from all over. Now I only get local people. I am selling them for more and faster in the local newspaper. Also, 1/2 the people that are top bidder don't even pay. It's just not barely worth it anymore. Q. A friend sells his stock whenever the stock drops 7% after purchase or his cost. That strategy saved him a lot in the past year when the market dropped about 50%. However, that also means, he lost all his gains with his stocks when the stock market dropped. Should he have a strategy to sell after GAINING, say 50%, and then re-buy the stock back, while maintaing the SELLING strategy of 7% of cost?

The hostess receives credit for the sales and is able to buy stuff herself at a discount or free. Should these be viewed as a business transaction in which one is free to simply decline if they are not interested in the merchandise being sold? Or is it a social event hosted by a friend in which the invitation should be accepted out of courtesy even if she has no interest in the product being sold? Q. I want to purchase campaign materials in bulk from one of the presidential campaigns and was wondering what laws, if any, restricted me from selling the merchandise. I will be selling it at the same price as the campaign.

How much could you make selling cars with a Dealers License in California?
Q. I want to pursue a Dealers License in the San Francisco area. I want to know if its profitable business selling used cars? I was planning on selling 1 to 2 cars at a time. What is the avg price below KBB you could get at a Dealers Only Auction? Also the avg % profit per vehicle? Thanks alot

How does selling shares benefit a company?
Q. I am assuming if the owner of a company decides to sell shares, then the percent of a company they own will reduce, so its like they are selling some of their ownership, and the price they sell this for will be paid to them. If money goes from new shareholders to previous owner, how does this make the company itself richer? It must though because companies sell shares to get finance .. ?

A. The simple answer it doesn't. The stock exchange consists of two distinct markets. One is the Primary market where companies raise finance and the other is the Secondary market where shares that have been issued in the Primary market are traded between individuals and institutions.
